The fiber is flexible and can easily be adapted to the internal surface of the tooth. Once incorporated with the proper filling material, this fiber drastically improves bond strength, provides additional strength to the tooth, and reduces the amount of stress in the restoration. This really helps ensure that your restoration (and more importantly your tooth) lasts a long, long time.
