How can you avoid a crown?
We try to save as much of your natural tooth as possible. As long as your tooth doesn't already have a crown, we are able to repair it with a custom biomimetic restoration instead of a crown. A biomimetic restoration seals off the inner part of the tooth better than crowns. It flexes like a natural tooth so that your tooth doesn't break like it would under a crown. It also protects the tooth from needing bigger, more costly procedures in the future. So it has more advantages than a crown, without any of the disadvantages.
What is biomimetic dentistry?
Biomimetic dentistry means repairing your tooth as close to an undamaged natural tooth as possible. Instead of removing more of your tooth than necessary, we focus on saving healthy tooth structure.
